| Washington State University hosts SUSTAIN NW-L, a moderated list aimed at building sustainable communities in the Cascadia region of the Inland and Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. It is a forum for discussion and the exchange of information, ideas, expertise, and insights on how to work together to build strong Northwest communities, sustain the economy, ecology and culture. Individuals or organizations working on sustainable indicators, collaborative comanagement, ecosystem efforts or sustainable agriculture and local economic development are particularly encouraged to participate. People from all areas of experience, and interest such as community practitioners, activists, educators, researchers, planners, artists, and residents are encouraged to participate.
