ENVTECSOC
Environment Technology and Society

ENVTECSOC is an unmoderated discussion group hosted by Communications for a Sustainable Future (CSF) at the University of Colorado (USA). ENVTECSOC was established by the Environment and Technology section of the American Sociological Association (ASA). They are the "Environmental Sociologists" who discuss the relation between humans and the environment and its many aspects. The list is mostly used for posting announcements and news items, and requests for information. Occasional discussions get going but the owners try to keep mail to a high-quality minimum to avoid losing subscribers. Archives are available on their Gopher site or on the WWW site (linked above).
