CSF (Communications for a Sustainable Future) is a server at the University of Colorado (USA) dedicated to the sustainability issue through web sites and discussion lists. Although CSF lists and web sites are overseen by university faculty from different parts the world, it is intended to provide a forum of interchange between the academic world and the concerned public. It is also intended as a electronic hub for (graduate and undergraduate) students who can participate and find information for their studies.
CSF was founded primarily by social scientists, especially faculty in sociology, political science (especially international politics) and economics, but more people in the natural sciences are participating thereby mirroring the interdisciplinary nature of the global issue of sustainability.
