Ecol-Econ is a moderated list hosted by Communications for a Sustainable Future (CSF) at the University of Colorado (USA). Ecol-Econ is founded on the idea that a change is needed in the way we think about economics if we wish to address the issues surrounding a sustainable ecological-economic system. The purpose of the list is to stimulate discussion among persons of widely varying backgrounds with similar intent in order to foster more rapid change in economic thought. Discussion topics include: sustainability, the role of economic growth, free trade and the environment, and the role of multilateral economic institutions in the sustainability of the development process. This list is moderated, owned and/or managed by: Curtis Bohlen bohlen@csf.colorado.edu Steve Thorpe thorpe@csf.colorado.edu
